Istiwa’ is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Walisembilan Semarang. Istiwa’ was first published in 2004 in printed version and available online since 2025.

Istiwa’ focuses on Interdisciplinary and Islamic Studies, that presents studies related to all aspects of Islam and the Islamic world in the fields of philosophy, history, religion, sharia, education, political science, international relations, psychology, sociology, anthropology, economics, the environment, and other contemporary issues related to scientific research. This Journal provides readers with a better understanding of that focuses covering both literary and fieldwork studies through the publication of original research articles.
