This study aims to analyze curriculum development innovation in Islamic Religious Education through the integration of religious theory and practice at SMP Fathul Huda Sidorejo. This research employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using an interactive model involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that curriculum innovation was implemented through curriculum enrichment, increased instructional time, and the development of religious subjects into more specific areas of study. The integration of theory and religious practice was carried out through classroom learning combined with religious habituation, Qur’anic memorization, worship practices, sermon training, and other religious activities. The evaluation system was conducted comprehensively through cognitive, affective, and psychomotor assessments. The successful implementation was supported by school leadership commitment, teacher competence, religious school culture, and adequate facilities. This study concludes that curriculum development innovation in Islamic Religious Education through the integration of theory and religious practice creates a more contextual, applicable, and effective learning process in developing students’ religious character.
